SWEENEY RUSH LATE MODEL SERIES AGREE TO SPONSORSHIP WITH “OPEN THROTTLE 360” MOTORSPORTS TV SHOW ON PITTSBURGH’S PCNC

(Pulaski, PA)…The Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Dirt Late Model Series is proud to announce that they have agreed to a sponsorship with “Open Throttle 360” to be a featured weekly segment on their motorsports show beginning mid-April 2013. The 30-minute television show airs on Pittsburgh’s PCNC, (Pittsburgh Cable News Channel), an affiliate of WPXI Channel 11. PCNC’s footprint encompasses approximately 850,000 subscribers throughout western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia.
“Open Throttle 360” debuted last fall and features various aspects of motorsports throughout the region including race track updates, driver profiles, drag racing, street rods, along with a variety of other automotive content. The show airs Wednesdays at 7:30 PM and re-airs Fridays at 1:00 AM, and can also be viewed at www.OpenThrottle360.com, including all previous episodes.
RUSH will be showcased weekly in the show’s “Talkin OT360” segments beginning April 17 and will continue for 13 consecutive weeks with hopes of continuing weekly through October 9. The RUSH segment will feature many different stories that will give viewers throughout the tri-state area an in depth view and better understanding of the Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Dirt Late Model Series.
“We are really looking forward to being a prominent feature on Open Throttle 360,” stated RUSH Co-Director Vicki Emig. “This is going to be a tremendous opportunity for us to not only promote and market our racers and sponsors, but will also allow each of our sanctioned speedways the ability to showcase their facilities in front of tens of thousand of current and potential race fans throughout the region.”
The “Talkin OT360” segments will be utilized mostly to make current and potential new race fans aware of RUSH-sanctioned speedways in their area and the exciting “weekly” RUSH Dirt Late Model program that each of these speedways present. Many of the drivers participating at these “weekly” speedways will be profiled. Additional interviews will cover such topics as teching procedures of the GM 604 crate engine, pre-race RUSH car preparation, specific Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC Touring events coverage, and other interesting subjects that surround the Series.
“We realize how important dirt track auto racing is to our region’s motorsports industry and we are very excited to have the Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Dirt Late Model Series as a sponsor with Open Throttle 360 on a weekly basis,” stated Open Throttle 360 Producer Tripp Clarke. “Although other types of short-track racing in our area will also be featured, we believe the RUSH segment is going to be a tremendous way to showcase and introduce quality dirt track racing on a consistent basis within our program.”
2013 RUSH weekly-sanctioned speedways include Allegheny Mountain Raceway (Kane, PA), Bradford (PA) Speedway, McKean County Raceway (East Smethport, PA), Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway (Imperial, PA), Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex (Markleysburg, PA), Sharon Speedway (Hartford, OH), and The Rock – Allegany County Speedway (Cumberland, MD).
