SWEET, SWEET REDEMPTION: Whittall victorious at Port Royal Speedway; World of Outlaws invasion looms

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (July 21, 2025) – Despite being denied victory exactly weekend prior, the result of a flat tire while leading with less than one circuit remaining, Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports refused to throw in the towel, eventually translating their poor luck into success by capturing their first Port Royal Speedway victory of the season on Saturday, July 19.

Whittall, now in sole command of the 2025 Port Royal Speedway championship by 120 markers, earned his “Speed Palace” triumph from the outside of row four, powering his way to second with just 11 laps remaining, then taking command over Mike Thompson the following circuit. Adding to his weekend stat sheet, the ace of the RBH Group, Turret Engineering, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, Milky Way Restaurant, No. 67 sprint car finished fifth at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, July 18, helping to increase his season’s top-ten tally to just shy of 20 – 17 in fact.

“It feels great to get the monkey off of our backs. The first win is always the hardest to get, so they say, but thrilled to finally get it done,” Whittall mentioned. “We’ve had quite the year…our fair share of ups and downs for sure. But this win makes it all the better. We know our potential, so we’re hoping to knock out a few more before the end of the year.”
