T.J. Michael Begins Preparations for 2016 Florida Visit
Hopes to Spend February in the Sunshine State

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Plano, Texas (October 28, 2015) – With the 2015 season just recently coming to a close for Plano, Texas, native T.J. Michael, early stages of preparation for 2016 have already commenced. Michael, who just concluded his first full season behind the wheel of a 410 sprint car, will only have a few months to teardown and rebuild before competition resumes in early February. Preliminary plans for the “Texas Traveler” include venturing to Florida for the early part of February, joining the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions and World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series for select events. It would be a first ever Florida appearance for T.J. Michael.

“We’ve already started to get things ready to go for next year” explained T.J. Michael, “I’m pretty proud of our season. We had an opportunity to travel a lot more this year and that gave us a little extra exposure. Experience is what I lack the most, so we wanted to take the time to travel more and grow more comfortable on different track sizes and conditions. We want to take things a step further in 2016 and start our season in Florida. That will give us a great head start to the season.”

Despite finishing his “410” rookie season without a win, the “Texas Traveler” did score three victories during 305 sprint car competition; earning one in his home state of Texas and two during action in Ohio. Michael’s experience increase was an obvious factor during the second half of his 2015 campaign. The pilot of the Fremont Fence Company, Advanced Cast Stone, Kear’s Speed Shop, Shell Shock, Hinchman Suits, Snap-On, Kistler Racing Engines, #8M, rolled off six consecutive top-ten finishes during Fremont/Attica Sprint Title “410” Championship Series competition at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. Michael finished as high as second during 410 sprint car main event action in 2015, which occurred at Orrville, Ohio’s Wayne County Speedway.

“We were close a few times, just a little short” said Michael, “I want to thank my family and my entire team for this opportunity. We are anxious to get back to work next season. We know where we have to be, so we’ll work to close that gap that next few months.”

More news regarding T.J. Michael’s 2016 February plans will be posted in the near future.
