T.J. Michael welcomes new additions in time for Central Pennsylvania All Star invasion
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
FREMONT, OH (April 25, 2017) – The “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael will enter the upcoming weekend with a few new additions to the Michael Motorsports/No. 8M program, welcoming Brady Shull and Josh Reece just in time for the first Central Pennsylvania invasion of the 2017 Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions season.
Michael, who is in the midst of his second, full season with Tony Stewart’s Arctic Cat All Stars, will visit three different facilities over the course of three days during his upcoming travels to The Keystone State, starting with a visit to the world-famous Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on Friday evening, April 28.
After his trip to the “paperclip,” Michael will visit the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace” in Port Royal on Saturday, April 29, followed by a trip to the Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway in Bedford on Sunday, April 30.
Michael is certainly no stranger to competition in Central Pennsylvania, entering nine events with the Arctic Cat All Stars in 2016. Recent highlights in “Posse Country” include charging from 19th to finish ninth during the 2016 spring visit of Port Royal Speedway, also charging from 20th to finish 13th at Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway last April. Michael’s charge at Port Royal Speedway was enough to earn Hard Charger honors, his first of three during the 2016 season.
“We’re pretty excited to get back to Central Pennsylvania. We have an opportunity to race against some of the best sprint car drivers in the country for three days. The only way we are going to improve is for us to race against the best,” Michael explained, the 2016 Arctic Cat All Star Rookie of the Year runner-up. “I want to welcome Brady Shull and Josh Reece to our team. I’m sure they’ll be a huge help to our program. We have a lot to prepare for, but they are most definitely up for the challenge.”
T.J. Michael will enter the weekend currently sixth in the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions standings, earning a 21st place finish during his most recent Series start on Saturday, April 22, at Wayne County Speedway near Orrville, Ohio.
“We have a long season ahead of us,” Michael said regarding his recent performances. “We have plenty of time to get things going in the right direction. The last thing I’m going to do is panic and drive over my head. We’ll be just fine.”
