The 40th running of the Lucas Oil ‘Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic’ is this weekend- Saturday and Sunday, January 21st and 22nd – at the Premier Speedway in Warrnambool, Australia! The top Australian sprint car drivers in the country will battle with a true U.S.A. ‘All-Star Team’ – that includes fourteen of America’s top sprint car pilots – lead by current World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion, Jason Meyers.
The two day Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic pays a solid $40,000 to the winner! Steven Lines is the defending race winner. Danville, Indiana native, Danny Smith – who will be in attendance representing the United States – is a six time ‘Classic’ winner! The weekend will also include a $6,000 to win ‘Oval Express Magazine Australian-American Challenge Cup.’
This event will also act as the last qualifier for the Knoxville World Challenge at the annual Knoxville Nationals!
