SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (October 5, 2022) – Although the “Big Wheel” was scheduled to return to Pennsylvania one weekend prior, eventually canceling his plans to attend Williams Grove’s National Open due to Mother Nature, Sheboygan, Wisconsin’s Scotty Thiel is officially on his way back, ready to join the best of the Keystone State, as well as the Greatest Show On Dirt, for what will be a three-race slate across three days, all of which activating in the Pigeon Hills on Thursday, October 6.

As noted, Thiel, driver of the Gibbsville Cheese, Walkers Game Ear, Professional Plating Inc, Scott Thiel Builders, Stealth Cam, Muddy Outdoors, Complete Water Inc, KSI Supply, GRP Motorsports, Racers Hall, Triple X Chassis, No. 73 sprint car, will launch his three race agenda with a visit to the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway on Thursday, October 6, chasing $7,000 in the Brian Montieth Classic. Thiel is a prior visitor to Lincoln, joining weekly participants in a handicap program earlier this season.

Thiel’s weekend triple will continue with Port Royal Speedway’s two-day Nittany Showdown on Friday and Saturday, October 7-8. The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event will award a total weekend winner’s share reaching $25,000; $10,000 on Friday and $15,000 on Saturday.

The Big Wheel is certainly no stranger to the Keystone State, highlighting a recent visit with a podium run in the $10,000-to-win Commonwealth Clash at Lernerville Speedway.

“It’s a great place to be this time of year. We enjoy racing in Pennsylvania and we hope to put together three solid days,” Thiel explained. “Of course, we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without our great partners. They believe in us and we appreciate all of their support. It’s been a pretty solid season, but it’s not done yet.

“We really don’t have much planned following this road trip,” Thiel added. “So we’ll do whatever we can to go out on top.”
