HANOVER, Pa. (June 3, 2024) – It was a fabulous effort at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway for JJ Loss and JKL Racing, not only improving six positions to secure their top result of the season, but “The Boss” out of nearby Hanover, Pennsylvania, simultaneously secured the evening’s hard charger award – awarded to the competitor who advances the most feature positions.
In all, a sound Steve Smith Tribute effort for the 17-year-old, transferring through his respective heat race before starting 17th on the $10,119-to-win grid. Loss and his family-owned operation raced on to finish 11th in the 35-lap contest, already aiming for more, and better, when they return to the Pigeon Hills on Saturday, June 8.
“Overall, just a great effort all night long. We had to dig ourselves out of a hole, but it all worked out and I’m proud of what we accomplished,” Loss, driver of the Next Level Signs & Graphics, Your Hometown Agents – Colby Jacobs & Neil Reichart Team, Diversified Cuts, Wolf’s Plumbing LLC, Capitol Renegade, No. 67 sprint car, said. “An up and down year for us in some respect, but we’re a young team. The bad comes with the good, but we’re never down and out. We’re having fun and that’s the most important thing.”
