THE FINAL LUNGE: Aaron Reutzel and RSR to close out High Limit Racing campaign with starts at Lucas Oil and Texas Motor Speedway
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
KNOXVILLE, Iowa (October 13, 2025) – And it all comes down to this.
Despite only three starts remaining on the 2025 High Limit Racing campaign, “A-Aron” Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR) are well within striking distance, trailing Rico Abreu and Rico Abreu Racing by a mere 20 markers in the High Limit Owners Championship – a crown carrying a $250,000 potential. Reutzel, who calls Clute, Texas, home, will roll into the final three events with a recent top-five sweep to his credit, finishing no worse than fourth in a two-day visit to Kansas City, Kansas.
“It all comes down to this,” Brian Ridge, owner of the Ridge & Sons Racing, Power Plus, Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, American Table, Commercial Edge, Rasmusson Service Center, The P.O. Box, Bargain Barn, No. 87 sprint car, said. “Can’t say enough about this team and what they’ve been able to accomplish, and overcome. Even with Aaron [Reutzel] out to injury, everyone came together and persevered. Justin [Sanders] did a fantastic job for this race team and we wouldn’t be in this owners hunt without him. I’m confident we have what it takes to get to the top of the championship by Saturday night.”
As noted, it was a productive weekend in Kansas City for Reutzel and RSR, eventually capping the Heartland of America Showdown at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, with a runner-up and fourth-place finish, respectively. The two-day outcome not only kept Reutzel within championship striking distance, but it padded an incredible stat sheet for the team out of Knoxville, Iowa, now with a combined 50 top-tens on the year, 36 of which occurring within the top-five. Not to mention, Aaron Reutzel and mid-season substitute Justin Sanders have amassed 12 total victories.
