BENTON RIDGE, Ohio (March 28, 2024) – It has been a long wait, but the wait is finally over, as Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing are set to make their 2024 debut Friday night, March 29, at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. Wilson, who was forced to forfeit any Florida plans due to trailer repairs, will roll into the new year with not only a fresh mindset, but a new look, backed by a dedicated and long lasting support team padded by Hercules Tires, Ohio Logistics, and DNC Hydraulics.
Incidentally, although Wilson’s season is off to a relatively delayed start, so is Attica Raceway Park, losing multiple opening night attempts due to Mother Nature.
“The weather kinda did us a favor, especially in our area…we really haven’t missed anything,” Wilson, a two-time All Star Circuit of Champions champion, expressed. “Hats off to everyone involved here at Greg Wilson Racing. Our partners, supporters, and most of all, my family…everyone plays a key role in making this team a reality and I’m so proud to be a part of it. Hercules Tires, Ohio Logistics, DNC Hydraulics…they are more than just partners, they are family, and I’m not sure any of this would be possible without their support and dedication. Here’s to a fresh start and a new year.”
Similar to their 2023 plan of attack, Greg Wilson’s 2024 agenda will be determined month-to-month and sometimes week-by-week, taking travel, purse structure, and, perhaps most importantly, weather all into consideration.
“We’re just taking things week by week for the most part,” Wilson added. “We’re going to do what makes sense for our team and partners. We have a lot of major events highlighted, but we’ll fill the gaps with what makes the most sense.”
