Third Time’s a Charm: Alyson Dietz Will Make Third Start of 2015 at Trail-Way
Lady Racer Looks to Follow in Family Footsteps

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (May 1st, 2015) – Alyson Dietz will continue her 600cc micro sprint season next Friday night, May 8th at the Trail-Way Speedway near Hanover, Pennsylvania. Dietz, brother of ‘410’ rookie Chase Dietz, and niece of local ‘410’ sprint car hotshoe Cory Haas, will make her third start of the 2015 season at Trail-Way; a third-mile dirt oval located right in the heart of central Pennsylvania’s racing scene. The young lady out of York, Pennsylvania will work for her first win of the season at the Hanover venue, as well as continue her trek to follow in her family’s racing footsteps. Her uncle Cory Haas is an eight-time ‘358’ track champion in central Pennsylvania, and her brother Chase is the 2014 Lincoln Speedway ‘358’ track champion.

“I grew up at the track…I love everything about it” said Alyson, “It’s who I am and it’s where I want to be…my family has been pretty successful in recent seasons so I guess I have some shoes to fill…I have a lot of amazing people who support me including my family…hopefully I can keep moving up and keep up the tradition…I just want to thank everyone who helps out my race team…It’s going to be a fun season.”

During most recent 600cc action, Alyson Dietz made a visit to the Path Valley Speedway Park near Spring Run, Pennsylvania. Despite the lack of experience at the quarter-mile, high banked bullring, Dietz earned a starting spot in the 25-lap main event; bettering most of the 47 600cc micros entered for the ‘Party at the Path.’ Dietz earned her way into the show by way of a fourth place finish during heat race competition. She would start on the outside of row number nine for the 25-lapper, and hang on for a 17th place finish; fighting an ill-handling car and tricky track conditions.

“We didn’t have the car quite tight enough” said Dietz, “It was a great experience…making the show was a pretty big accomplishment…we were pretty happy.”

Alyson Dietz kicked-off her 2015 season with a fifth place finish at the Trail-Way Speedway; her first of most likely many top-fives over the course of the current season.

“I just want to race as much as I can” explained Alyson, “That’s basically the only thing I think about during the week.”
