Denver, PA (April 30th, 2014) – Central Pennsylvania sprint car teams will have the opportunity to race on three (3) separate occasions during the upcoming weekend; with action taking place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 2nd, 3rd & 4th. ‘Super’ Alan Krimes, a two-time ‘410’ winner in Central Pennsylvania already in 2014, will race on all three days during the upcoming weekend; beginning Friday, May 2nd at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Krimes will make his usual Saturday night visit to the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, May 3rd. The Denver, Pennsylvania native will then cap-off the upcoming weekend with a visit to the Susquehanna Speedway Park in York Haven, Pennsylvania on Sunday, May 4th.
Alan Krimes, who pilots the Midnite Antiques, Conestoga Valley Garage, Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, no. 87 ‘410’ sprint car, will kick-off the upcoming weekend with a visit to the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday evening, May 2nd. Krimes finds himself thirteenth (13th) in the current Williams Grove Speedway track championship standings after only two (2) contested events. The former Williams Grove Speedway main event winner will look for his first ‘Grove’ win of 2014 this Friday night. The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series will be visiting the world-famous half-mile dirt oval in just a few weeks; making every start at Williams Grove Speedway just as important as the next. Lincoln Speedway will host its 11th Annual ‘Weldon Sterner Memorial’ this Saturday night, May 3rd in the Pigeon Hills. Alan Krimes is currently on top of the Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ track championship standings; on the strength of two (2) victories, three (3) top-five finishes and three (3) top-ten finishes. The former UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ main event winner at the Pigeon Hills 3/8’s mile dirt oval holds a fifty (50) point advantage in the current track standings over former track champion, Brian Montieth. Alan Krimes finished eleventh (11th) at Lincoln Speedway during his last visit on Saturday, April 26th. ‘Super’ Alan Krimes will wrap-up his upcoming three-race weekend in Central Pennsylvania with a visit to the Susquehanna Speedway Park on Sunday evening, May 4th. The ‘410’ sprint cars will headline the evening program with a 25-lap, $3,500-to-win main event. This will be Alan Krimes’ first visit to the ‘S.S.P.’ oval in 2014.
