York, PA (July 14th, 2014) – Cory Haas will battle ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ on three (3) consecutive occasions during the upcoming weekend; beginning Thursday evening, July 17th in his own back yard. The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series will be making their second trek through central Pennsylvania this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 17th, 18th & 19th; once again stirring up the well known rivalry between the ‘Outlaws’ and the ‘Pennsylvania Posse.’ Cory Haas, who pilots the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., Thornton Chevrolet, Tailgaters Grill & Drafthouse, no. 11C ‘410’ sprint car, will follow the ‘Outlaws’ during their entire central Pennsylvania mini-swing; which launches at the Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The weekly Lincoln competitor will be a sure local favorite on Thursday night at the Pigeon Hills facility. Haas is currently third (3rd) in the Lincoln Speedway track championship standings.

After their Lincoln Speedway appearance on Thursday evening, July 17th, the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series will move on to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania for the two-day ‘Summer Nationals’ marquee on Friday and Saturday, July 18th & 19th. The ‘Greatest Show on Dirt’ will host two (2) complete programs for the ‘410’ sprint cars on Friday and Saturday; highlighted with the 30-lap/$20,000-to-win finale on Saturday evening. Although Cory Haas has never won a main event with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, he is certainly no stranger to big money and high pressure situations. Haas is a former Jack Gunn Memorial champion at Williams Grove Speedway, and a Kevin Gobrecht Memorial champion at Lincoln Speedway; earning $5,000 for the Jack Gunn Memorial title and $7,000 for the Kevin Gobrecht Memorial title. Cory Haas will enter the upcoming weekend fourteenth (14th) in the current SPEEDWAY MOTORS/CHAMPION RACING OIL PA SPRINT CAR SERIES Presented by Hoseheads.com standings.
