LODI, California (April 29, 2021) – Bettering most of the 42 non-wing 600cc micro competitors making the call on Saturday evening, JKL Racing’s Tim Vaught capped the team’s April calendar with a top-ten performance at the high-paced Delta Speedway in Stockton, California, on Saturday, April 24, ultimately ending his evening with a tenth-place finish during the 30-lap main event. Vaught, who will represent JKL Racing during select events over the course of the 2021 season, earned his way into Delta’s big dance by finishing second during his respective heat race, kicking-off the evening with the 14th-fastest time during qualifying time trials.

“The Boss” JJ Loss, JKL Racing’s primary wheelman and the son of team owners, Britany and Jason Loss, also qualified for Delta’s non-wing showstopper on Saturday evening and finished 20th. The Pennsylvania transplant who now resides in Lodi, California, earned his way into Delta’s main event by finishing third during his respective heat race, launching the program with the 20th-fastest time out of 42 entries.

“It was a great effort by each of our drivers. It’s tough to be disappointed in anything they do when considering the level of competition and the numbers they are usually up against. We have a long season ahead. That first win is on the way, I’m sure of it,” Britany Loss said. “I think the plan is to head back to Delta this weekend and once again enter both JJ and Tim in the non-wing program. These boys have a lot of talent and a lot of speed, but we certainly wouldn’t be in the position that we are without our partners. Their support and dedication makes our world go around.”

JJ Loss and Tim Vaught will return to non-wing 600 competition on Saturday evening, May 1, with another round of action at Delta Speedway. Gates are set to open at 1 p.m. with a mandatory driver’s meeting taking shape at 4:30 p.m. Qualifying time trials are scheduled to hit the track beginning at 6 p.m. with racing immediately following at 7 p.m., sharp.
