TKS Motorsports and Christopher Thram eager for World of Outlaws invasion of Knoxville Raceway

MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa (June 9, 2025) – Their relationship is young, but the team is already eager for new challenges, as TKS Motorsports and Sanborn, Minnesota’s Christopher Thram are set to battle the Greatest Show On Dirt at the Sprint Car Capital of the World on Friday and Saturday, June 13-14. Thram, who joined TKS Motorsports following the team’s parting with Cory Eliason, will roll into Knoxville Raceway’s World of Outlaws doubleheader with two TKS starts to his credit, the most recent a top-ten at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota, on Sunday, June 8.

Thram, who finished eighth in the aforementioned top-ten, is certainly no stranger to the Huset’s highbanks, as he is currently third in the 2025 410 Sprint Car driver championship.

“We’re new, but we’re eager to get going,” Troy Renfro, owner of the TKS Motorsports, Iowa Barnstormers, Des Moines Industrial Products, Webb Family Farms, Landus, Jersey Freeze Ice Cream, AL Driveline, No. 2KS sprint car, said. “Hats off to Christopher Thram for stepping in for us mid-year. It’s never easy joining a new team, but we’re confident in his ability and we’re excited to see what he can do. We’re going to put our tools to the test this weekend when the Outlaws come to town.”
