The second half of the UNOH DIRTcar Nationals is about to begin and will now feature super late model competition – beginning tonight, February 20th and concluding Saturday, February 25th!

Six nights of UMP/World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned events will now highlight the Volusia Speedway Park/ DIRTcar Nationals schedule. The top super late model drivers in the world will wrap up their 2012 Florida venture at the fastest half-mile in the south near Daytona Beach, Florida. Darrell Lanigan has been on a recent hot streak in super late model competition; claiming a few victories already in 2012 including the $20,000-to-win Winter Freeze in Sylvania, Georgia. 

The first three nights of action – beginning tonight, February 20th- as well as Friday night, will be sanctioned by UMP rules – with Thursday night and Saturday night being sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. World of Outlaws points will only be awarded during the Thursday night and Friday night portion of the week long program!
