BROWNSBURG, Ind. (September 21, 2020) – Joining the best that the Pennsylvania Posse has to offer, as well as a stout contingent of All Star Circuit of Champions and regional competitors, Columbus, Indiana’s Tony Stewart made the trip to Central Pennsylvania during the recent weekend and entered action at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, September 18-19. 

Despite missing the top-ten during each of his weekend outings, the three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee showed promise and qualified for Lincoln Speedway’s Dirt Classic 7 on Saturday, September 19. Forced to earn his spot through the evening’s B-Main, Smoke eventually translated a 22nd starting position into a 17th-place finish. There were 53 cars on hand for the $20,000-to-win showstopper. 

One night prior at the world-famous Williams Grove Speedway, Stewart, driver of the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing/Rush Truck Centers/Advance Auto Parts/Mobil 1/Ford Performance/Curb Records/Sage Fruit/FloRacing/Carquest/TechNet Professional Automotive Service/Hunt Brothers Pizza/Absolute Automation & Security/Digital Ally/J&J Auto Racing/No. 14 sprint car, qualified for the annual Jack Gunn Memorial main event and finished 16th from 18th, earning a spot through his respective heat race. 

Tony Stewart and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing have not unveiled plans for their upcoming schedule. Fans are encouraged to stay alert online, as well as on social media, for continuing updates pertaining to Tony Stewart’s open wheel agenda. 

With that said, San Jose, California’s Tim Kaeding will be piloting the familiar No. 14 during Eldora Speedway’s Governors Reign on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 22-23. The All Star Circuit of Champions program will award $10,000 on Tuesday and $52,000 on Wednesday. Although no fans will be permitted to attend, those wanting to catch the action can do so via www.floracing.com
