Team Fully Injected ‘410’ sprint car competitors, Travis Philo and Adam Kekich, will have their hands full this weekend as both drivers are set for busy weekends filled with open-wheel competition. Both up and coming sprint car pilots will have their share of side-by-side racing, wheel-to-wheel chaos, and hopefully, trips to victory lane. Adam Kekich, and his familiar ‘5K,’ have plans to compete on both Friday and Saturday of the upcoming weekend, while Travis Philo, and his Philo Motorsports ‘5T,’ will only be making a Saturday night appearance at Attica Raceway Park.

Hermitage, Pennsylvania native and third generation sprint car driver, Adam Kekich, has a few destinations planned this weekend for the Kekich Racing operation. The ‘5K’ team will be kicking-off the weekend with a visit to the Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio later this evening (August 17th.) Kekich, who recently earned his first career ‘410’ sprint car victory at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania, has been in action at Wayne County Speedway in the past, and hopes to use that experience to earn himself, and his team, an up-front finish at the Orrville oval. Tonight’s program will feature a $2,500-to-win main event for the ‘410’ sprint cars. On Saturday evening, August 18th, Travis Philo and Adam Kekich, each plan to make the trip west to Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio for the $3,000-to-win, Fremont/Attica Sprint Title event. Night #19 of the Kistler Racing Products F.A.S.T. Championship Series will not only feature the ‘410’ sprint cars, but also the F.A.S.T. series ‘305’ sprinters on the evening program. Some of the top sprint car teams in Ohio will be in attendance Saturday evening for the last F.A.S.T. program of the season at Attica. Travis Philo, who is a regular with the F.A.S.T. series in 2012, currently sits 15th in the series standings entering Saturday’s program. The Bowling Green, Ohio native has one win in sprint car competition in 2012; that coming at Attica Raceway Park during a non-F.A.S.T. event. If Adam Kekich makes to the tow to Attica, Ohio, it will be his first start of the season at the 3/8’s mile oval. Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania will also be hosting the ‘410’ sprint cars on Saturday, August 18th. The 21 lap, $2,100-to-win, ‘Blackjack 21’ will feature some of Western Pennsylvania’s top sprint car competitors on the blazing fast big half-mile. If Kekich Racing decides not to make the trip west to Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Saturday evening, fans will likely see the Sunburst Enviromental Services ‘5K’ at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. There will be no ‘410’ sprint car action at Mercer Raceway Park this Saturday evening; almost guaranteeing a full-field of sprint car talent at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile.’ Check out www.ppms.com for more information!
