Bowling Green, Ohio native and Fully Injected member – Travis Philo – will be in action this Friday and Saturday (4/20-4/21) at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio and Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio; kicking-off a long, competitive season of F.A.S.T. (Fremont/Attica Sprint Title) competition. Both events are sanctioned by the F.A.S.T. series; with Friday night’s event at Attica paying $3,000-to-win. Philo has tentative plans to follow the entire F.A.S.T. schedule in 2012 – which equals roughly 20 events between Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. The F.A.S.T. programs will feature some of the top ‘410’ sprint car teams in Ohio, as well as a select few All-Star Circuit of Champions’ teams that choose to race with the series when not on the road. Bryan Sebetto is the defending F.A.S.T. champion!
The Philo Motorsports team looks to use the upcoming weekend as a ‘new’ starting point for the season. The familiar ‘5T’ operation has struggled thus far in 2012, and hopes to use the upcoming F.A.S.T. ‘opener’ as a chance to build some much needed momentum. Philo’s effort last year in the F.A.S.T. series put the Control Design Solutions ‘5T’ inside the top 20 of the final point standings; while also earning a seventh place finish in the final Attica Raceway Park standings.
The F.A.S.T. event this Saturday night, April 21st, at Fremont Speedway will also act as the facility’s season opener.
