Bowling Green, OH (August 7th, 2013) – Recent Attica Raceway Park winner and full-time Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) competitor, Travis Philo, will make an appearance in Western Pennsylvania this Friday and Saturday, August 9th & 10th; taking part in unsanctioned ‘410’ sprint car events at the Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park.
Philo, who owns two (2) career ‘410’ sprint car wins, will test Western Pennsylvania waters this weekend in search of a second (2nd) ‘410’ sprint car win in 2013. The Bowling Green, Ohio native, who pilots the Control Design Solutions, Banshee Graphics, Kistler Racing Products, no. 5T sprint car, earned both career wins at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio; one (1) during the 2012 season and one (1) during the 2013 season. With Attica Raceway Park (OH) and Fremont Speedway (OH), Philo’s usual weekend destinations inside and outside of F.A.S.T. competition, each not hosting ‘410’ sprint car action during the upcoming weekend, Travis Philo has the opportunity to travel east and compete with the Western Pennsylvania ranks; such as Jack Sodeman Jr., Scott Priester, Brandon Spithaler, Eric Williams, and Brandon Matus. This will be Travis Philo’s first trip to Western Pennsylvania during the 2013 season.
The Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania will be hosting a ‘Fab Four’ racing program on Friday evening, August 9th; which will feature all four (4) of the facility’s weekly racing divisions. The Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania will be hosting a regular ‘Saturday Night Live!’ racing program on Saturday evening, August 10th; featuring the ‘410’ sprint cars with six (6) other co-headlining divisions; including the FASTRAK late models.
