Travis Philo Will Follow Entire ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ Schedule
It All Begins This Friday at Attica Raceway Park

Bowling Green, OH (June 19th, 2013) – ‘Buckeye State’ native Travis Philo will hit the road for nine (9) straight days beginning this Friday evening, June 21st; following the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions along the 2013 ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ trail. Philo, who pilots the Philo Motorsports, Control Design Solutions, Banshee Graphics, no. 5T ‘410’ sprint car, will visit seven (7) facilities during the 31st Annual ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ schedule; with eight (8) total nights of competition on the speedweek planner. The Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio will be the only dirt oval hosting multiple nights of UNOH All Star speedweek action. ‘The Track That Action Built’ will host two (2) nights of ‘410’ sprint car competition during the 31st Annual ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek.’
Travis Philo has one (1) career ‘410’ sprint car main event victory, and will have eight (8) opportunities in nine (9) days, beginning this Friday, to better that statistic. The Bowling Green, Ohio native races regularly in northwestern Ohio; competing at the Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway each and every Friday and Saturday. Philo is also a full-time competitor with the Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) series; and finds himself thirteenth (13th) in the current F.A.S.T. standings. Philo’s upcoming ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ campaign will begin this Friday, June 21st at the site of his first-career ‘410’ sprint car victory; Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio.
Following the stop at Attica Raceway Park, the ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ tour will make appearances at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Saturday, June 22nd; Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Ohio on Sunday, June 23rd; Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio on Monday, June 24th; Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio on Tuesday, June 25th; off day on Wednesday, June 26th; Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Thursday, June 27th; Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio on Friday, June 28th; and finally, wrapping up the speedweek schedule back at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday, June 29th. Each speedweek event will be sanctioned by the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions; awarding $5,000 to each and every main event winner. Fremont Speedway’s ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ finale on June 29th will be the only exception; with $10,000 being awarded to the A-main winner.
Travis Philo will enter the weekend with a healthy share of momentum. The pilot of the familiar Philo Motorsports ‘5T’ sprinter earned two (2) top-ten finishes during his most recent weekend behind the wheel of a ‘410’ sprint car; including a fourth (4th) place performance at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio last Friday evening, June 14th during Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) competition. Travis Philo also earned an ‘Australian Pursuit’ championship at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on June 15th. The pursuit triumph was worth $2,000.
