Dempseytown, PA — The work, both on the facility and behind the scenes, continues at the Tri-City Raceway Park and the new speedway website, www.tricityracewaypark.com, is now live.

“We would like to thank Bob Mohney at Mohney’s Web Designs for putting together a first class website for Tri-City Raceway Park,” stated speedway Promoter Chad Wagner. “The website is a work in progress and additional information will be added as we finalize our plans for the 2015 season. In addition we want the speedway website to complement our presence on Facebook and Twitter.”

“We have been overwhelmed by the positive responses we have received. We are looking forward to providing some great motorsports action as well as various other events for the non-racing residents of Venango and Crawford counties,” concluded Wagner.

Wagner and Co-Promoter Sam Tatalovic continue to contact various regional touring series’ to determine which will fit best with the 2015 Specials Only format and expect to announce the schedule later this year.

In an attempt to have more fan interaction the speedway staff are encouraging drivers who previously competed at the speedway as well as race fans who attended events at the speedway to submit photos of memorable moments they had at the track. It is our desire to start a weekly “Wayback Wednesday” and/or “Throwback Thursday” feature on the Tri-City Raceway Park Facebook page. Photos must be submitted in a JPEG Format to Marcie Barlow at tricityracewaypark@zoominternet.net. A brief description should accompany the photo along with contact information in the event additional information is needed.

The Tri-City Raceway Park staff continues to make improvements to the facility and are also winterizing the buildings as winter is rapidly approaching. Look for more photos of the improvements in the near future.

The Tri-City Raceway Park offices are located at the P.M. Bus, Inc. facility which is located at 29770 Lyona Road, Guys Mills, PA 16327. A new era in Venango County motorsports will kick off in 2015 as the Tri-City Raceway Park will reopen its gates and provide race fans and area residents with affordable motorsports action, Truck and Tractor Pulls, go kart action and much more; get ready for a “New Year, New Ownership and New Attitude at Tri-City Raceway Park!”

Tri-City Raceway Park is owned by Crawford County businessman Mark Tatalovic. Tatalovic purchased the facility in the Spring of 2014. The facility’s promoters, Sam Tatalovic and Chad Wagner, are longtime friends and also work together at the Tatalovic family business, P.M. Bus, Inc. The ½ mile auto racing facility is located in Oakland Township (Venango County). Although the 2015 schedule is not complete the speedway is expected to host truck and tractor pulls, go kart racing and other family friendly activities in additional to monthly short track auto racing action.
