Pittsburgh, PA (September 4th, 2014) – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s Danny Holtgraver will continue his 2014 campaign this Friday and Saturday at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. Holtgraver, who pilots the Hunter Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, WestView Motors, DKW Transport, no. 10H ‘410’ sprint car, will venture to central Pennsylvania with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions during the upcoming weekend; set to take part in the 47th Annual ‘Tuscarora 50.’ The ‘Tuscarora 50’ weekend, which kicks-off on Friday evening, September 5th, will feature back-to-back full nights of racing for the ‘410’ sprint cars, highlighted with the 50-lap ‘Tuscarora 50’ main event worth $12,000 to the victor. Danny Holtgraver is still searching for a career-first main event win at the Juniata County Fairgrounds half-mile oval, and looks to ‘stun’ the ‘Posse’ this weekend and attain that highly sought-after accomplishment.
“I like Port Royal Speedway…I always enjoy racing there” said Danny Holtgraver, “This is one of my favorite races of the year…a great paying race in one of the toughest areas of the country to race in….everything about this event is special and being a part of it is a lot of fun…hopefully we can travel out there and earn two strong finishes…I just want to thank everyone involved, especially Rob Hunter…he’s given me a great opportunity this year to do what I love to do…hopefully I can earn a few more wins for him this season before time runs out!”
Danny Holtgraver will initiate his 2014 ‘Tuscarora 50’ campaign on Friday evening, September 5th at the Port Royal Speedway. The ‘Night Before The 50’ preliminary program will feature a 30-lap main event, awarding $5,000 to the main event winner and $400 just to start. The two-race weekend will continue on Saturday evening, September 6th with the ‘Tuscarora 50’ finale. The Saturday evening program will be highlighted with the prestigious ‘Tuscarora 50’ main event; awarding $12,000 to the winner, and $500 just to start. Danny Holtgraver, a former Lernerville Speedway champion, finished 10th during the 2013 edition of this 50-lap marquee. The recent Attica Raceway Park UNOH All Star winner finished 3rd during the 2013 ‘Night Before The 50.’
