South Park, PA (June 12th, 2013) – Recent Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway super late model winner, Jared Miley, will resume his 2013 racing schedule Thursday evening, June 13th, at the Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia. The 25th Annual ‘Earl Hill Memorial’ super late model program will be featured at the Tyler County Speedway ‘Bullring’ on Thursday night; kicking-off the inaugural ‘ICON Memorial Tour Late Model Speedweek’ through West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Miley, who pilots the familiar Jared Miley Racing, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, ‘H1’ super late model, is the two-time and defending winner of the $4,000 ‘Earl Hill Memorial’ event at ‘The Bullring,’ and will seek a third consecutive title tomorrow evening.
The ICON Memorial Tour Late Model Speedweek will continue-on for three more dates after it’s Thursday night stop at the Tyler County Speedway. The ICON Memorial Tour will make way to the NAPA Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio on Friday evening, June 14th; Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 15th; and will conclude at the West Virginia Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells, West Virginia on Sunday, June 16th. All four programs will offer a $4,000 super late model top prize. Jared Miley and Jared Miley Racing will only be present for two of those four events; including the Thursday evening, Tyler County Speedway stop. Jared Miley’s weekend will continue on Friday evening, June 14th, at the NAPA Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio for the second round of the inaugural ‘ICON Memorial Tour Late Model Speedweek.’ The ‘Freedom Fighters 40’ will be the main event during Friday night’s NAPA Wayne County Speedway program; paying $4,000 to the winner of the 40-lap, super late model main event. Miley, who is a former Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway and Lernerville Speedway super late model track champion, has yet to visit the Orrville, Ohio oval in 2013, but hopes to leave the venue Friday evening one-for-one and $4,000 richer. ‘The Jet’ will enter the weekend with three (3) super late model main event victories thus far in 2013. The South Park, Pennsylvania native owns two (2) victories at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (PA), and one (1) victory at the Lernerville Speedway (PA); all during regular ‘points’ racing. The Jared Miley Racing, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Octane Graphix, Colussy Chevrolet ‘H1’ team will only be in action this Thursday and Friday, June 13th & 14th. Prior obligations will keep the team at a two-race weekend.
