2014 PA Speed Week Comes To An End
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars had six races scheduled for six straight nights. After Monday June 30th off PA Speed Week continued with Greg Hodnett in the Heffner #27 winning at Grandview Speedway Tuesday July 1st. Greg Hodnett won once again the next night Wednesday July 2nd at Hagerstown Speedway in MD. Thursday night July 3rd was rained out at Port Royal Speedway while Stevie Smith in the Rahmer #51 won at Williams Grove Speedway Friday July 4th. The series moved back to Port Royal Speedway on Saturday July 5th where Lucas Wolfe driving the Zemco #1 took the win. Speed Week ended Sunday night July 6th at Selinsgrove Speedway with Brent Marks in his family owned 19m in victory lane. Lucas Wolfe and the Zemco Team were the 2014 PA Speed Week Champions over Greg Hodnett.
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars continue this weekend with Williams Grove Speedway Friday July 11th then Lincoln and Port Royal Speedway’s on Saturday July 12th.
Greg Hodnett remains the point leader over Danny Dietrich and Brian Montieth.
