INDIANAPOLIS –The popular USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car Series will be returning to Pennsylvania in 2013 with the very popular Eastern Storm Tour.
Grandview Speedway and the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series will again open the tour on Wednesday night, June 5. Joining the USAC non-wing sprints will be the ARDC Non-Wing Midgets. The sprints will go a distance of 40 laps in the Jesse Hockett Classic that will pay $6,000 to the winner.
The Eastern Storm will continue on Thursday night,June 6 when USAC makes their first appearance at the Path Valley Speedway in Spring Run,Pa. The tour will have Friday night off then visit the Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway on Saturday night,June 8.
Ending the four race Eastern Storm will be a stop at Susquehanna Speedway Park in Newberrytown,Pa.,on Sunday night,June 9. This will be the first time in over twenty years since non-wing sprint car racing has visited Susquehanna Speedway Park. The ARDC Midgets will join USAC at the Susquehanna oval before USAC leaves Pennsylvania for their return trip to the Midwest.
