The World Series Sprintcars will take on Speedway City in Adelaide, Australia in just a few hours for round 10 of the 2011/2012 tour! The premier Australian sprint car series will welcome some of the best competition in the world; as many top notch American pilots plan to take part in this weekend’s action. An elite force of American sprint car drivers, made up of Danny Smith, Shane Stewart, Lucas Wolfe, Tim Shaffer, and Jason Johnson, are all expected to be in Saturday night’s lineup!
The last time the WSS visited Speedway City this season, it was James McFadden picking up the win! McFadden has six wins with the tour this season out of the nine rounds that have been completed thus far.
McFadden, who is also the series’ point leader, enters this weekend’s event at Speedway City with a 455 point lead in the current standings. Robbie Farr sits second, with Steve Lines rounding out the podium spots.
