Vermeer Motorsports’ High Limit schedule to continue Friday at Lakeside Speedway

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

MIFFLINTOWN, Pa. (April 13, 2026) – Although its early April campaign featured a two-week break, the first of the two coinciding with the Easter holiday, it’s time to go back to work, as the Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing schedule is set to resume Friday and Saturday, April 17-18, with visits to Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, and Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, respectively.

Kerry Madsen and Vermeer Motorsports, full-time travelers with the nation’s finest “high rollers,” kept active in the two-week break, spending their most recent weekend with Pennsylvania’s best in a three-race sweep at Selinsgrove Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, and BAPS Motor Speedway on April 10-12. The opportunity proved vital, and despite not padding the stat book, the events allowed Vermeer Motorsports the chance to fine tune and test, already prepping for an upcoming High Limit Racing invasion of Pennsylvania Posse Country over Memorial Day weekend.

Madsen’s recent weekend in the Keystone State was highlighted by a 13th-place score at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, April 11; he started in the exact same position. The “Madman” is currently sixth in the High Limit Racing national standings heading into their visit to Kansas City.

“It was good to get out and turn some laps in Pennsylvania. We’re always working to improve, and with our shop right down the road in Mifflintown, it’s important that we take advantage of a healthy Pennsylvania scene and get out and compete,” Tye Wolfgang, Vermeer Motorsports Crew Chief, explained. “We had some things go our way, and some other things not. But we’ll take the good with the bad…ready to get back to the High Limit schedule Friday.”

ON DECK:
Kerry Madsen and Vermeer Motorsports will continue their 2026 Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing campaign with a Kansas and Missouri doubleheader. Action will commence Friday, April 17, at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, followed by a trip to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, on Saturday, April 18.
