Holtgraver Looks to Rebound After ‘Rumble In The Hills’

Pittsburgh, PA (April 14th, 2015) – The 2015 UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions schedule will continue this Saturday and Sunday with a pair of $5,000-to-win events in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Danny Holtgraver and Phoenix Racing will join the UNOH All Stars for both events during the upcoming weekend; beginning with action at the Wayne County Speedway near Orrville, Ohio on Saturday, April 18th. The Phoenix Racing, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, DKW Transport, Auto Electric of Jupiter, Florida, Southern Pacific Farms, ‘59’ team is coming off of a thirteenth place finish during the ‘Rumble In The Hills’ at the Atomic Speedway near Chillicothe, Ohio.
“It was a tough night at Atomic last Saturday” said Holtgraver, “We missed it completely on Saturday…had some problems getting the car where it needed to be, but we’ll rebound and try again this weekend…I’m pretty anxious to get back to Wayne County…I got an All Star win there not long ago so I always have a lot of confidence heading into that place…Bedford is big and it requires a lot of momentum…it will be fun for sure…can’t thank Tom and Sherry Leidig enough for what they do for me…we’ll see what we can do this weekend.”
After visiting the Wayne County Speedway on Saturday evening, Danny Holtgraver and Phoenix Racing will venture to the Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania for the All Star sanctioned ‘Coffee Pot Classic’ on Sunday, April 19th. Holtgraver, a three-time All Star main event winner in 2014, will enter the upcoming weekend seventh in the current All Star championship standings. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native’s most recent finish with the regional touring series was a seventh place performance at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Saturday, April 4th.
