Weather wins Friday, Whittall seventh in Port Royal’s Keith Kauffman Classic

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (April 28, 2025) – It was another weather-shortened weekend in Posse Country for Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports, losing Friday’s scheduled appearance at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Despite the fact, action went on as scheduled Saturday at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace,” and Whittall was there to contend, aiming to outdo his last performance that concluded with a tangle while battling for victory.
Whittall, driver of his own RBH Group, Turret Engineering, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, Milky Way Restaurant, No. 67 sprint car, finished seventh in Port Royal’s annual Keith Kauffman Classic, climbing three spots after commencing action from the outside of row five. The Vincentown, New Jersey, native kicked off preliminary action with the third-fastest time in his respective group of qualifiers, racing on to finish second in the third of four heat races.
With all results considered, Whittall’s stat card now stands at four top-ten finishes, still working for his first triumph of the season.
“The Keith Kauffman Classic would have been a great one to win,” Whittall said. “I have a great team with a lot of great supporters by our side, so I feel we are always in contention at Port Royal. A lot of big events are on the schedule next month and we’ll be ready for it.”
