(January 19, 2023) – St. Helena, California’s Rico Abreu and Keith Kunz Motorsports made their 2023 Chili Bowl Nationals effort loud and clear at the Tulsa Expo Raceway in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and although the former two-time champion was unable to secure a third-ever feat, concluding his campaign 21st in Saturday’s 55-lap rundown, Abreu accomplished head turning results along the way including a podium outcome in the annual Race of Champions, followed by a preliminary night victory – a sixth consecutive and the eighth of his career.
Accompanying Abreu in his 2023 Chili Bowl efforts were Hill’s Racing and Cigar Port, each recognizable entities in the open wheel world and now officially affiliated with Rico Abreu for the 2023 season.
