JONESTOWN, Pa. (October 17, 2024) – It was a short, yet competitive stint in the Keystone State for Jonestown’s own Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing, but with the final World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Pennsylvania appearance officially in the books, it’s time to return to the highway, as the Greatest Show On Dirt sets aim on a Route 66 doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, October 18-19.

With much of the 2024 World of Outlaws campaign already in the books, Zearfoss, driver of his own Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, EnTrust IT Solutions, Berkebile Oil Company, No. 3Z sprint car, will roll into the Dirt Oval @ Route 66 in Joliet, Illinois, ninth in the championship standings, padded by 15 top-ten appearances including a top-five at BAPS Motor Speedway – right in his own backyard.

Dubbed the World of Outlaws Federated Auto Parts Route 66 Showdown, the two-day Joliet program will award $12,000-to-win each.

“It’s always good to be home, but it’s time to get back on the road,” Zearfoss acknowledged. “It’s tough to want to leave sometimes, especially with all of our family, friends, and supporters all around us, but we still have a lot of work to do. Our goal is to end the season on a stretch of solid performances. It’s pretty tough to believe we’re already into the back half of October, to be honest, but the end is in view. All we can do is work to end the year strong.

“To those who came out and supported us during our visits to Williams Grove and Lincoln, thank you,” Zearfoss added. “There’s no place like home.”
