The 44th annual Kronik Energy Drinks Western World Championships, featuring the ASCS National Tour and Canyon Region sprint cars, will kick off this evening with intense season ending action at the USA Raceway in Tuscon, Arizona. Just a few shy of 110 total entries will be making their way into the USA Raceway pit gates this weekend. The total field, being 61 winged Lucas Oil ASCS sprint cars and 46 wingless ASCS Canyon Region sprint cars, will be split in half over the course of Thursday and Friday to give all teams a fair qualifying effort for Saturday night’s finales.
Tonight’s Sunoco Fuels Qualifying event will kick off the weekend at USA Raceway. Last year’s champions, Donny Schatz and Brady Bacon, will each hit the high flyin’ 3/8’s mile oval this evening in an attempt to qualify for Saturday’s finales!
