FOREST, Ohio (June 7, 2021) – Highlighting their recent weekend with a podium run during the 19th Annual Keysor Memorial at Limaland Motorsports Park, Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports will do their best to continue that positive momentum boost during upcoming trips to Gas City I-69 Speedway and Twin Cities Raceway Park on Friday and Saturday, June 11-12. The Hoosier State weekend doubleheader will be highlighted with Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (BOSS) competition at Twin Cities in North Vernon, Indiana, on Saturday.

Westfall, driver of the Ray Marshall-owned/Ray Marshall Motorsports/Buckeye Machine Fabricators, Inc./Hempy Water/DPI Ink/No. 33M sprint car, finished third during his Limaland visit, advancing two spots on an “elbows up” racing surface to solidify his podium run. It was a second consecutive podium appearance by the legendary “Bumblebee Express,” finishing third during a BOSS Series start at Waynesfield one weekend prior.

Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports own one victory on the season, doing so at Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana, on April 9.

“Consistency is important. There’s nothing wrong with being consistent and earning podium finishes, but I think we are good enough to be on top. That’s what we are working toward,” Westfall said, who won a BOSS Series championship in 2019 for Ray Marshall Motorsports. “I can’t thank Ray Marshall and this entire team enough for their hard work and support so far in 2021. Ray believes in us and he believes in what we are capable of doing. I’m pretty confident we can get it done this week.”

In terms of recent experience, Twin Cities will be a relatively new destination for Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports, but the Forest, Ohio-based race team owns some success at Gas City already this year, finishing fifth during BOSS action on May 14.
