FOREST, Ohio (September 9, 2024) – Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsprots are certainly no strangers to Texarkana 67 Speedway in Texarkana, Arkansas, continuing their stretch of success in The Natural State with a USAC National Sprint Cars top-ten on Saturday, September 7.
Originally slated to be a two-day affair until Mother Nature stepped in and intervened, Pleasant Hill, Ohio’s Westfall launched the one-day program with a runner-up performance during heat race competition, racing on to finish ninth in the evening’s main event; he started from row six. Westfall’s eventual top-ten bumped his season tally to eight, three of which accomplished within the top-five.
Westfall, who pilots Ray Marshall’s Buckeye Machine Fabricators Inc, Hempy Water, DPI Ink, Wix Filters, Rod End Supply, Allstar Performance, No. 33M sprint car, was the defending Texarkana 67 Speedway winner with USAC, claiming a $10,000 payday in 2023.
“Mother Nature didn’t give us much hope for two tries at Texarkana, but we made the most of our trip. We’ve really enjoyed racing there these last few years,” Westfall explained. “We wanted to get another big win for Ray [Marshall]. We still have plenty of time. I’m confident we’ll get a few more for him before the year comes to a close.”

Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports will continue their 2024 USAC National Sprint Cars campaign with an Indiana doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, September 13-14, visiting Circle City Raceway and Tri-State Speedway in consecutive fashion.
