FOREST, Ohio (August 5, 2024) – Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports put together an impressive campaign in their 2024 Indiana Sprint Week agenda, not only recording seven consecutive feature starts against a stout level of USAC National Sprint Cars competition, but ultimately highlighting their crisscross through the Hoosier State with an impressive rally at Kokomo Speedway, climbing from a provisional starting position to finish within the top-ten.
Westfall, driver of Ray Marshall’s Buckeye Machine Fabricators Inc, Hempy Water, DPI Ink, Wix Filters, Rod End Supply, Allstar Performance, No. 33M sprint car, finished ninth in his Kokomo Speedway appearance, commencing July 27 action from the outside of row 13. The top-ten was Westfall’s sixth of the 2024 season, all of which highlighted with a victory at Paragon in late June.
In addition to his top-ten at the Kokomo bullring, Westfall’s other Indiana Sprint Week results include a 15th-place score at Lincoln Park on July 26, 12th at Lawrenceburg on July 30, 12th at Circle City on July 31, 15th at Terre Haute on August 1, 13th at Tri-State on August 3, and 20th at Bloomington on August 4. Other ISW stats include three heat race victories, as well as a six-spot charge at Indianapolis’ Circle City.
“It’s the biggest week of the year for us and we enjoy the opportunity to be a part of it each and every time.
