FOREST, Ohio (October 14, 2024) – It was a challenging weekend in the Hoosier State for Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports, and although engine trouble ultimately ended their efforts on Friday, October 11, their Saturday night outcome at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, concluded on a much higher note, ending the coveted Fall Nationals featuring the USAC National Sprint Cars with a 15th-place outcome.

Westfall, ace of Ray Marshall’s Buckeye Machine Fabricators Inc, Hempy Water, DPI Ink, Wix Filters, Rod End Supply, Allstar Performance, No. 33M sprint car, commenced Saturday’s weekend finale from the outside of row ten, earning his way into the big dance via fourth-place finish during his respective heat race.

The USAC National Sprint Cars schedule will enjoy an off weekend before concluding competition at Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Oklahoma, on Friday and Saturday, October 25-26.

“Not the weekend we were looking for overall, but to recover like we did after some engine issues on Friday says a lot,” Westfall said. “Excited to get to Red Dirty Raceway. We’ll work to conclude the USAC season with some great results.”
