VINCENTOWN, N.J. (October 21, 2019) – Justin Whittall’s Open Wheel Madness campaign on Saturday, October 19, was filled with promise, ending his evening at the Port Royal Speedway ‘Speed Palace’ with a 15th place performance amongst a talented field reaching the mid-30s.

Although not his best outcome of the season at the Juniata County Fairgrounds half-mile, Whittall’s finish on Saturday boosted his team’s morale, ultimately creating excitement as they prepare to challenge the best in the world during the two-day Nittany Showdown beginning Friday, October 25.

Boasting a $23,000 winner’s share over two days, $8,000 on Friday, October 25, and $15,000 on Saturday, October 26, Whittall will enter the World of Outlaws sanctioned Nittany Showdown in full force, not only working to represent the Pennsylvania Posse fanbase at the highest level, but also working for a career-high finish against the Greatest Show On Dirt.

To date, Whittall has entered three World of Outlaws programs in 2019 and has qualified for one main event, finishing 23rd at Bridgeport Speedway on May 21.

“I’m excited to race with the Outlaws again,” Justin Whittall said, driver of the JW Motorsports/Atlantic Utility Trailer/Brotherton Brewing Company/Pioneer Auto Body/Worldwide Bearings/No. 67 sprint car. “They are the best in the world at what they do. It’s a perfect opportunity for us to learn and better ourselves. Hopefully we can represent our fans and partners well and earn our way into both shows.”
