VINCENTOWN, N.J. (September 23, 2024) – Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports were the best in Central Pennsylvania Friday night, September 20, securing their second 410 sprint car victory of the season (the first accomplished at Port Royal Speedway on June 15) with an impressive display at the world-famous Williams Grove Speedway.
For Whittall, now a two-time winner at the Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, staple, his mission to the front commenced from row two, forced to navigate traffic before driving by race leader, TJ Stutts. Whittall’s winning move occurred on lap 15, putting himself into position as early as two laps prior. The victory secured the Vincentown, New Jersey, native a $6,000 payday, cruising to the finish with a final margin of victory reaching nearly four seconds.
“What an awesome night,” Whittall, driver of the JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, Milky Way Restaurant, No. 67 sprint car, said. “It’s been an incredible season. Everything kinda hit high gear when we won at Port Royal back in June. That proved to be a huge confidence booster for us and we’ve been having a blast ever since.
“Can’t thank my team, my family, and of course, all of our partners for their continued support and dedication,” Whittall added. “We have a lot of racing leff on our schedule. We’re working to keep this going.”
