VINCENTOWN, N.J. (June 24, 2019) – Port Royal Speedweek has certainly been kind to Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall, and that was certainly the case yet again during the recent weekend, as the recent high school graduate put together an impressive performance that ended with a charge from 22nd to finish 11th on Saturday, June 22.
Although one spot shy of the top-ten category, the end-result only adds to an impressive Port Royal resume in 2019 that includes a runner-up performance on Saturday, June 15.
“We are getting better and better at Port Royal Speedway and it feels great,” Justin Whittall explained, driver of the JW Motorsports/Atlantic Utility Trailer/Brotherton Brewing Company/Pioneer Auto Body/Worldwide Bearings/No. 67 sprint car. “I can’t thank my team enough for their hard work and support this season. We have a lot going on during the next few weeks. I’m excited to see what we can do during PA Sprint Speedweek.”
In addition to his visit to Port Royal Speedway, Whittall also joined a stacked field at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, June 21. With 30 cars making the call, Whittall qualified for main event competition and finished 18th; he started 24th
Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will enter a minimum of four events during Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek, which kicks off officially on Friday night, June 28, at Williams Grove Speedway. The New Jersey youngster will join the Pennsylvania Posse during consecutive Speedweek starts at Port Royal Speedway, Hagerstown Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway, and Port Royal Speedway on July 3-6. Additional dates may be added before Speedweek commences.
