VINCENTOWN, N.J. (August 30, 2021) – For the second consecutive weekend, Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports found themselves with a top-ten outcome, this time finishing eighth during Selinsgrove Speedway’s annual Jack Gunn Memorial on Saturday, August 28. Incidentally, Whittall’s top-ten performance from the week prior was also an eighth-place finish, doing so at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace.”

Whittall qualified for the $5,000-to-win Johnny Mackison Clash with a fifth-place finish during his respective heat race; there were 32 cars entered for action.

“It was a great weekend for our team. I feel like we’re starting to build some consistency and that’s important with so many big shows on our September schedule,” Whittall said, driver of the JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Brotherton Brewing Company, Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, FK Rod Ends, Stilo Helmets, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Enterprise, Ground Blind Boys, No. 67 sprint car. “Labor Day weekend has the potential to be really busy for us. We’ll regroup this week and work hard to keep that consistency alive.”

With a full slate on the Pennsylvania schedule, Labor Day weekend has the potential to be extra busy for Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports. A tentative outlook includes the $6,088-to-win Todd Shaffer Tribute at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, September 3, a double at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday and Monday, September 4 and 6, and a trip to Selinsgrove Speedway for their 410 National Open on Sunday, September 5.
