VINCENTOWN, N.J. (May 19, 2021) – For the first and only time in 2021, the World Outlaws Sprint Car Series made their presence known in the Garden State, and Justin Whittall, a New Jersey-native and frequent flyer with the Pennsylvania Posse, took full advantage of the opportunity, joining the Greatest Show On Dirt during their Tuesday night takeover of Bridgeport Motorsports Park.

Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Brotherton Brewing Company, Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, FK Rod Ends, Stilo Helmets, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, No. 67 sprint car, worked to not only contend for an A-Main starting position against the best sprint car drivers in the world, but also solidify a first-ever top-ten with the Series. Whittall may not have reached the top-ten, but the former URC racer turned Posse full-timer did qualify for the $10,000-to-win program, racing his way through the evening’s Last Chance Showdown before climbing from 20th to 17th.

“It’s always nice to have the chance to race close to home, especially at that level,” Justin Whittall said, who finished 12th at Bridgeport during open action on April 6. “World of Outlaws shows are tough. Just making the A-Main is a challenge in itself. We’re always striving to do better and racing with those guys will force you to be better. I’m already looking forward to the opportunity to do it again.”

Returning to a normal schedule, Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will continue their 2021 campaign with a traditional doubleheader in the Keystone State, first visiting Williams Grove Speedway on Friday then making the trip to Port Royal Speedway on Saturday. Certainly no stranger to each of the aforementioned Pennsylvania speed plants, Whittall has found the most success at Port Royal. Dubbed the “Speed Palace,” Whittall has one podium finish at Port Royal thus far in 2021, that occurring during Open Wheel Madness action on April 24.
