Whittall’s upcoming plans uncertain; Potential Port Royal start on Saturday
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
VINCENTOWN, N.J. (June 12, 2018) – If it was not for bad luck, Justin Whittall would have no luck at all, this time caught by surprise during United Racing Club (URC) main event competition at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday evening.
Attempting to dodge a slower car during Lincoln Speedway’s 360/358 Sprint Car Challenge event, Whittall was left with nowhere to go, ultimately making contact with the competitor’s left-rear wheel sending the Vincentown, N.J., native on a wild ride; Whittall was scored 16th.
Concussion symptoms may sideline Whittall for the upcoming weekend, but if conditions improve, the URC full-timer may make his way to Port Royal Speedway to exercise his 410c.i. skill.
“It has been a wild year. We can’t seem to get things to go our way,” Justin Whittall explained, driver of the JW Motorsports/Atlantic Utility Trailer/Brotherton Brewing Company/Pioneer Auto Body/Worldwide Bearings/No. 67 sprint car. “I’m not too sure what we are going to do this weekend. If we can race, we’ll probably end up at Port Royal on Saturday with our 410. We need to get some good things going soon. I’m confident things will get better. We have a long season ahead of us.”
