Germantown, Tennessee native, Kevin Swindell, grabbed his third consecutive Chili Bowl Nationals title this evening in Tulsa, Oklahoma! Swindell, who lead all 55 laps, was followed by his father- three time World of Outlaws Champion- Sammy Swindell, at the line. There has now been a Swindell in victory lane every year since 2009; with Kevin winning the past three and Sammy grabbing a victory in 2009. Damian Gardner was the champion in 2008.
Sammy Swindell would finish second this evening in the 26th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals ; followed by Tuesday night preliminary winner, Kyle Larson, Stratton, and Bryan Clauson
