Williams Grove Speedway
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
4/28/13

Mechanicsburg – The month of May at Williams Grove Speedway kicks off this Friday, May 3 at 7:30 pm when the oval hosts a dual card of sprint car racing.

The show will include the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars and the Tool Shed of America 358 sprint cars.

It will be just the second show of the year for the 358 sprints after Austin Hogue took the opener in mid-April.

Meanwhile, the event will be the next to last chance for the Grove 410 sprints to ready themselves for the first invasion of the season by the World of Outlaws.

That two-day show by the WoO at Williams Grove is slated for May 17 and 18.

Tickets are currently on sale at the speedway office.

Williams Grove will host an official outlaws tune up on May 10, when the format will mirror that of the outlaws programs including time trials.

May 10 will also be the second show of the season for the 410 sprint Diamond Series, which got underway at the track on April 26 when Don Kreitz Jr. bested the All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints.

The Williams Grove Saturday Series featuring the super sportsman will see action at the track on May 4, 11 and 25.

So far this year there has not been a repeat sprint car winner at Williams Grove Speedway.

Williams Grove Lawrence Chevrolet sprint car winners have been Fred Rahmer, Danny Dietrich, Cory Haas and Kreitz.
