Williams Grove Sprint Double This Week, Tommy Classic Is April 11

Mechanicsburg – The Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprints and the Tool Shed of America 358 sprints return to Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, April 11 at 7:30 pm as racing season gets into full swing in mid-April.
The open wheel double will get underway at 7:30 pm.
Adrian Shaffer won the first 358 sprint main of the year in the season opener on March 28 while Gerard McIntyre Jr. took the 410 lidlifter.
Just one week after the April 11 program, the Spring Classic Tommy Hinnershitz Memorial for the 410 sprints will be staged on April 18 as the first date of the 2014 Diamond Series at Williams Grove.
The prestigious 30-lap event will pay $6,000 to win out of a total purse of nearly $30,000 with time trials setting the heat and feature starting grids.
The super sportsman will also be on the Tommy card along with fireworks.
The first appearance of the season at Williams Grove by the All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints is lined up for April 25.
The Williams Grove Speedway Saturday Series races begin on April 26 with the Super Sportsman, 358 late models and street stocks on the program at 6:30 pm.
And remember, kids ages 12 and under are always admitted free at Williams Grove Speedway!
