Mechanicsburg – Williams Grove Speedway will present a URC 360 sprint/358 sprint challenge event this Friday night, June 7 at 7:30 pm.

Joining the 360/358 cars on the program will be the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprints for an open wheel fan’s delight.

The URC 360/358 feature as well as the heat races will be lined up via handicapping.

The URC main event will be 25 laps in distance, paying $2,200 to win.

Tony Stewart and Pat Cannon split URC sanctioned events that were run at Williams Grove last season.

A large field of URC 360 and Williams Grove 358 sprint competitors is expected to turn out for the lucrative event this Friday night.

New Jersey’s Davie Franek is the current URC sprint series point leader.

On the 410 sprint side of things, the Friday program will be a final chance to race before the All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints stage their second Williams Grove invasion of the season on June 14.

That race will include the ARDC Midgets as part of the 2013 Diamond Series.

This past Friday, Alan Krimes became the seventh different sprint winner at the track in as many races.

Fred Rahmer is the current Williams Grove 410 sprint points leader.

The Williams Grove Saturday Series featuring the super sportsman will of course be in action on Saturday, June 2.
