BENTON RIDGE, Ohio (July 15, 2024) – It was a competitive week in the Badger State for Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing, and despite launching his trip to the Upper Midwest with a missed main event at Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, July 10, the two-time All Star Circuit of Champions champion rebounded respectably, concluding the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series visit to Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin, with back-to-back main event starts, highlighting all with a top-ten on Friday, July 12.
Wilson, ace of his own Hercules Tires, Ohio Logistics Warehousing & Transportation, DNC Hydraulics, No. W20 sprint car, finished ninth in his top-ten appearance, racing ahead two spots from row six. The Benton Ridge, Ohio, native utilized a third-place finish during heat race action to qualify for the evening’s Badger 40 opener.
Although shy of matching their top-ten outcome from Friday, Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing concluded their visit to Wilmot Raceway with a 13th-place score on Saturday, July 13, driving ahead six spots after starting the Larry Hillerud Memorial Badger 40 from the inside of row ten.
“Another great week with the World of Outlaws in the books. They are the best in the world for a reason, so to conclude our trip with a top-ten, and close to a top-ten, is pretty special. We enjoy getting out on the road when the opportunity allows, but there’s no place like home, and we have some pretty big events close to home this week,” Greg Wilson said. “The Brad Doty Classic and Kings Royal are very special to us and there’s nothing we want more than to represent our partners well on the big stage. Here’s to an exciting week at Attica and Eldora.”

Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing will continue their 2024 campaign with Attica Raceway Park’s Brad Doty Classic on Tuesday, July 16, followed by a visit to the World’s Greatest Dirt Track – Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio – on Wednesday through Saturday, July 17-20. The week will cap with the 41st Kings Royal on Saturday, July 20:
