BENTON RIDGE, Ohio (October 7, 2024) – Not many miles were logged in Greg Wilson’s recent weekend of competition, but the action was still high, ultimately joining the Great Lakes Super Sprints (GLSS) in their season finale doubleheader at Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Ohio, and Millstream Speedway in Findlay, Ohio, on Saturday and Sunday, October 5-6.
Although a slow start to the weekend, missing main event action at Waynesfiled, Wilson, ace of his own Hercules Tires, Ohio Logistics Warehousing & Transportation, DNC Hydraulics, No. W20 sprint car, recovered in a hurry, racing on to conclude his two-event sweep with a top-ten on Sunday. The Benton Ridge, Ohio, native finished sixth in the GLSS season finale, climbing ahead from 11th on the grid.
“Not the start to the weekend we wanted, but we persevered and recovered well, so it’s tough to be disappointed about that,” Wilson concluded. “Hats off to everyone who keeps this team in motion, my family especially. Success comes and goes, but they are constant and I’m blessed.”
