World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series at a Glance

The Dirt Track at Las Vegas, Tucson International Raceway

LAS VEGAS – March 4, 2013 – There’s no rest for the weary and starting now, for the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series either.

After having the last two weekends off following the season-opening event in Florida, the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series is scheduled to race for the next 32 weeks.

That kicks off this week on Wednesday and Thursday with a doubleheader at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas, which has showcased a different feature winner in each of the past five races on the half mile.

The Wildcat Shootout Presented by NAPA Auto Parts at Tucson International Raceway in Tucson, Ariz., concludes the weekend on Saturday. It will be the first time since 2007 that the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series has competed on the 3/8-mile track and only the fourth time ever.

WHEN

Wednesday and Thursday, March 6-7, at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas in Las Vegas. The front gate is scheduled to open at 5 p.m. with Opening Ceremonies slated for 6:55 p.m. each night.

Saturday, March 9, at Tucson International Raceway in Tucson, Ariz., for the Wildcat Shootout Presented by NAPA Auto Parts. The front gate is scheduled to open at 5 p.m. with hot laps around 6:15 p.m.
