World of Outlaws STP Sprint Cars at a Glance: The Ironman
Dollansky seeks third consecutive Federated Auto Parts Ironman title at high-banked I-55

PEVELY, Mo. – Aug. 1, 2013 – The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series invades Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 on Friday and Saturday for the two-night, 55-lap Federated Auto Parts Ironman 55.

Craig Dollansky is aiming his third consecutive Ironman victory on Saturday night. His four overall World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series victories at the high-banked, 1/3-mile oval are tied with Steve Kinser for the most in series history. Joey Saldana, the inaugural winner of the event in 2009 and a three-time winner in his career at I-55, is seeking his first victory of the season.

Championship points leader Daryn Pittman is holding off Donny Schatz, who earned six victories in 13 races in July as the Month of Money begins to wind down. Pittman and Schatz have each won a feature in their Outlaw careers at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55.

WHEN

Friday and Saturday, Aug. 2-3, at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. Hot laps are scheduled at 6:30 p.m. both nights.
